Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 27, 2026

WeAgora ("WeAgora", "we", "us") lets businesses and people create a public page with their contact details, links, photos and payment options, plus a QR code that opens it. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers weagora.app and the pages hosted on it.

Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address, and the business or personal name and color you choose when you register. We use one-time sign-in links, so we don't store a password.
  • Page content: everything you add to your page, such as your name, category, tagline, description, service area, hours, license information, phone numbers, email, website and booking links, social media links, payment usernames (for example Venmo, Cash App, Zelle or PayPal) and payment QR codes, and the photos and logos you upload.
  • Billing information: if you subscribe, payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your subscription status, plan and billing dates, but never your full card number.
  • Usage information: the number of times your page is viewed and how many times each button or link on it is tapped. Our hosting provider also collects basic technical data, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver the site, keep it secure and produce aggregate traffic statistics. On our own website we also count visits and clicks on our buttons, with a random ID stored in your browser rather than cookies or your name, email or IP address, to see which parts help people sign up. We don't do this if your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
  • Messages: if you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you.

Your page is public

Anything you publish on your WeAgora page can be seen by anyone who has the link or scans your QR code, and may be found by search engines. Only add information you are comfortable sharing publicly. You can edit or remove content, or unpublish your page, at any time from your dashboard.

How we use information

  • To create, host and display your page and QR code.
  • To sign you in and send account emails: sign-in links, welcome messages, trial and billing reminders, and important service notices.
  • To process subscriptions and keep your page active.
  • To show you view and tap statistics for your page.
  • To prevent spam, fraud and abuse, and to keep the service secure.
  • To translate your page between English and Spanish, only if you turn on automatic translation.
  • To support you and improve WeAgora.

Service providers we use

We share information only with companies that help us run WeAgora, and only for that purpose:

  • Lovable and Supabase: hosting, database, sign-in and file storage.
  • Cloudflare: website delivery, security, and the spam check (Turnstile) on sign-in and registration forms.
  • Stripe: subscription payments and taxes.
  • Resend: delivery of account emails.
  • An AI translation service (through Lovable's AI gateway): receives your page text only when automatic translation is on.
  • Google Fonts: your browser downloads the site's fonts from Google.
  • YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, VideoPress, Shopify and WordPress sites: if you add a video, it is embedded with that service's own player (YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode) or, for a video file, loaded from the Shopify or WordPress site that hosts it, and the service may collect data when a visitor views or plays it.

What we don't do

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not share it for targeted advertising, and we don't use advertising cookies.

Cookies and browser storage

We use your browser's storage to keep you signed in and to remember basic settings. The spam check and embedded videos may set their own cookies. We don't use cookies for advertising.

Payments between you and your customers

Payment buttons on a WeAgora page open the payment service you chose, such as Venmo, Cash App, Zelle or PayPal. Those payments happen entirely on that service. WeAgora does not process, see or store them, and the service's own privacy policy applies.

How long we keep information

We keep your account and page while your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your page, photos and account information within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, tax or accounting reasons, or to prevent fraud. Your page address is not reassigned to anyone else after deletion, so printed QR codes can't be taken over.

Your choices and rights

You can view and update your information at any time in your dashboard. To get a copy of your information, correct it, or delete your account, email us at support@weagora.app. We will respond within 30 days.

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion or correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. You can make a request by emailing us. We may need to verify your identity first.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and limits on what each account can read or change. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us right away if you believe your account has been compromised.

Children

WeAgora is meant for adults running a business or offering their services. You must be at least 18 to create an account, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email.
